Owner / Founder / Guide

Ishor has been rafting and kayaking in Nepal since 2002. He has been a guide and outdoor educator for nearly 20 years. He started his professional guiding career from Ultimate Descents Nepal on the mighty Bhotekoshi River in 2004. He has spent several years working and exploring the rivers and beauty of Nepal. Through Borderlands Professional Development Programs, he gained essential leadership skills which helped to lead the tour, participated in the Nepal Academy of Tourism, and also worked in the Nepal River Conservation Trust to save the river of Nepal. Lifetime member in HRGAN (Himalayan River Guide Association Nepal) Ishor is certified as Wilderness First Aid and has various other certifications and training including Rescue 3 International. His passion, tactfulness, and overall stoke for being in the river are contagious and he loves to share these experiences with others. In Japan, he worked in the Big Smile Japan and Top Minakami Company as the Managing Director. He has trained, managed, and befriended dozens of professional guides in Nepal, India and Japan. Now he is pursuing his dream by establishing his own outdoor company in Japan called Ziggies Adventure Japan.

The safety of our clients has and always will be the first priority at ziggies adventure Japan. Keeping that in mind, we employ the most experienced guides and use state-of-the-art equipment. Our guides are trained in SRT (Swift Water Rescue Technique), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Wilderness First Aid.

Ishor is a veteran rafting, kayaking and canyoning guide with 20+ years’ experience in Nepal and Japan. Founder of Ziggies Adventure Japan, he prioritizes safety, expertise, and passion on the river.

Masatake Sasaki Born and raised in Minakami, Sasaki has been exploring the Tone River since he was a kid. Today, he brings that lifelong passion to Ziggies Adventure as a canyoning guide—keeping guests safe while sharing big smiles, local stories, and unforgettable canyon experiences.

Rai Takman

International Guide

Raised in the Himalayas, Takman Rai brings years of rafting and canyoning experience to Ziggies Adventure. A qualified white water rescue technique & Wilderness First Aid guide and former rescue assistant with Initiative Outdoor and Chandra Ale, he combines strong safety skills with a friendly style that kids and adults love.

Ale Saroj

International Guide

Saroj Ale is a calm and reliable rafting and canyoning guide at Ziggies Adventure. Quiet by nature but strong in skill, he creates a safe and reassuring environment that guests—especially beginners—really appreciate. International guide, Outdoors qualification WRT and Wilderness first aid kayaking and trekking.

Thapa Sabin Quietly funny and always caring, Sabin brings great energy to every Ziggies Adventure. With rescue experience and a Wilderness First Aid certificate, he keeps guests safe, smiling, and coming back for more.

We are the rafting company in Japan, and we provides all the necessary equipments to our guests. Despite the significant costs of having and maintaining this equipment, we believe it vital to the safety or comfort of our guests in a paddling climate such as ours. Our off-river time is almost entirely dedicated to regular maintenance and repair of our equipment, all of which is done on site, by us.

We are operating our activities with quality service which is scheduled in our day plan that makes perfect and comfortable of yours adventure journey.

None of our trips are ever exactly the same. Because the combination of river conditions and group dynamics always differ slightly, we make little adjustments in the way we operate our trips so that each individual gets the best possible experience. Our ability to 'micro-customize' comes from years of experience on these rivers, and is the professional signature that we proudly apply to all of our river trips.
